Anurag Kashyap was interviewed by India’s most loved storyteller Neelesh Misra on ‘The Slow Interview With Neelesh Misra’. Anurag Kashyap is an Indian film director, writer, editor, producer, and actor. As a screenwriter, he wrote the scripts for the Filmfare Award-winning Satya (1998) and the Academy Award-nominated Canadian film Water (2005). Anurag Kashyup’s fame increased with the two-part crime drama, Gangs of Wasseypur (2012). Kashyap subsequently co-produced the critically acclaimed drama The Lunchbox, and the biographical drama Shahid (both 2013), the former earned him a BAFTA Award for Best Film Not in the English Language nomination. His next films were Bombay Talkies (2013), and the drama Ugly (2014). In 2016, Kashyap directed Raman Raghav 2.0, a film based on the serial killer Raman Raghav. His next film was the sports drama Mukkabaaz, which was released in 2018. The same year, he co-directed India’s first Netflix Original series, the crime thriller Sacred Games, based on Vikram Chandra’s novel of the same name and the romantic drama Manmarziyaan. Four Indian film personalities have been invited as members by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, including Anupam Kher, Zoya Akhtar, and Anurag Kashyap. Recently The teen sensation actress Ananya Pandey and filmmaker Anurag Kashyup duo have collaborated for a chocolate brand Cadbury Perk’s advertisement in which we get to see their goofy side. Anurag Kashyup has worked as a producer in Hrithik Roshan starrer upcoming film Super 30. Saand Ki Aankh is an upcoming 2019 Indian biopic drama film directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Anurag Kashyap.

Salim Khan | The Slow Interview With Neelesh Misra

Salim Khan is an Indian Screenwriter, Producer and Actor. He Wrote many screenplays together with Javed Akhtar in a team popularly known as ‘Salim-Javed’. As a writer, he is known for Sholay (1975), Deewaar (1975) and Zanjeer (1973). He is the father of three Bollywood actors, Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, and Arbaaz Khan. He is married to Sushila Charak also known as Salma Khan and to actress Helen Richardson Khan.

Director K. Amarnath, who was impressed by his good looks offered him a supporting role in his forthcoming film Baraat. It was duly made and released in 1960, but did not do too well. Some of the movies in which he played a supporting role are Teesri Manzil (1966), Sarhaadi Lootera (1966) and Diwaana (1967). In the late 1960s, Salim Khan, who was struggling financially, decided to write scripts. One of his more notable film scripts was Do Bhai (1969).

He wrote many screenplays together with Javed Akhtar as team Salim-Javed. Their first big success was the script for Andaz, followed by Adhikar (1971), Haathi Mere Saathi and Seeta Aur Geeta (1972). They also had hits in Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), Zanjeer (1973), Haath Ki Safai (1974), Deewaar (1975), Sholay (1975), Chacha Bhatija (1977), Don (1978), Trishul (1978), Dostana (1980), Kranti (1981), Zamana (1985) and Mr India (1987). They have worked together in 24 films including two Kannada films – Premada Kanike and Raja Nanna Raja. Of the 24 films, they wrote 20 were hits. Though they split in 1982.

Sudhir Mishra is an Indian film director and screenwriter. He started his career as assistant director and scriptwriter in Kundan Shah’s comedy classic Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. He later worked with Saeed Akhtar Mirza in Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho! (1984) and with Vidhu Vinod Chopra in Khamosh (1985). He made his directorial debut with the film, Yeh Woh Manzil To Nahin in 1987. He has directed films like Dharavi, Main Zinda Hoon, Is Raat Ki Subah Nahin, Nyaay (TV series), Calcutta Mail, Chameli, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Khoya Khoya Chand, Tera Kya Hoga Johnny, Yeh Saali Zindagi, Inkaar. In 2013 Sudhir Mishra directed a short film Kirchiyaan which talks about how a single second changed a woman’s life forever. In 2018 Sudhir Mishra directed Daas Dev, a romantic-thriller, with an interesting, modern take on the classic tale of Devdas-Paro-Chandramukhi love triangle. In 2019 he has directed for Hotstar a television series Hostages (2019).
